How to Use Two Tips of Markers – ADAXI Arts

The head’s shape of the mark pen is different, so when use it, you can create different pen strokes with different skills.

According to the needs of your work, choose the proper pen stoke skills of the two tips, you can be twice efficient than before.

Rectangle Stroke

While using the broad tip to draw, the head is parallel to the left edge of the paper and stick completely to the paper to create a rectangle stroke of tidy edge and even color saturation.

Stay the same speed when you draw it in case of uneven color saturation or untidy edge.

Parallelogram Stroke

It’s very similar to Rectangle Stroke above. The only difference is the angle of the head at the beginning, it’s not parallel to the left edge of the paper but at an angle.

When drawing markers needing lots of strokes, this one is used mostly.

Quick Sweep

Quick Sweep

Quick sweep is commonly used in the marker pen fast skills, very similar to the “FeiBai” in watercolor.Start like rectangle stroke but draw very quickly like sweeping to create uneven lines.

Several quick sweeps could create great gradation effect. Both wide and brush head can do this job.

Smooth Line

It’s a smooth line of tidy edge created by the fine tip at the angle of 30o ~ 600.

It’s used to draw the outlines of every part to divide them clearly in case of excessive coloring out of the part with broad tip.

Wave Line

Wave Line

While using a brush tip marker pen to draw, it is fairly pointed. You could easily create different types of lines according to how it goes.

You can use it to paint your hair or band or likewise to create wavy effect. It could also be used to draw the details.
